Who we are
DentalTrip is a dental travel agency, not a clinic. Founded in Antalya in 2011, we plan dental treatment in Turkey for international patients, with Ireland as our primary market since 2024. We choose and oversee Ministry of Health authorised partner clinics, our Chief Dentist Dr. Metehan Doğan reviews every treatment plan, and we look after each patient from the first message in Ireland to lifetime aftercare at home.
Our story
DentalTrip started in 2011 with a simple observation. International patients were arriving in Antalya for dental work with no idea which clinic they had booked, no one to ask, and no one to call when they got home. Some had wonderful results. Some had twenty crowns they never needed. The difference was never the country; it was the clinic, and the absence of anyone on the patient's side.
So we built the thing that was missing: an agency that answers to the patient. We vet clinics, we say no to over-treatment, we put every promise in writing, and we stay on the line for life. Over fifteen years that approach has brought us more than a thousand patients from Ireland, the UK, Germany, the Netherlands and further afield, and a satisfaction record we protect more carefully than any marketing budget.
Why Ireland
Irish patients found us before we found Ireland: by word of mouth, from one family member to the next. By 2024 Ireland had become our primary market, and we organised ourselves around it: coordinators working Irish hours, consultations in Dublin by appointment, flights planned from Dublin, Med 2 forms completed as standard. We say Ireland is our second home because, after this many Irish patients, it genuinely is.

Every treatment plan DentalTrip sends to an Irish patient has been reviewed by Dr. Metehan Doğan. He leads the clinical team at our Antalya partner clinic and sets the standard every partner clinic in Istanbul is held to.
His approach is conservative by conviction: save the tooth where it can be saved, choose a veneer over a crown where it will last, place implants only where the CT scan supports them. It is slower than the alternative and it is why patients who have been going to him for years still do.
